Sergey Savrasov is award winning photographer based in Portugal, Porto, mainly specializing in endurance racing, but also having expertise in covering wide range of motorsports - from Formula 1 to drift.
Sergey started his way in photography in 2014 as a wedding and portrait photographer shooting with his brother Eugene Savrasov
in the beginning of 2016 he merged two things that he loves most - motorsport and photography and made his first motorsport photoshoot for local karting championship.
Sergey combines artistic style with creative approach shooting motorsport events, using natural light and paying a lot of attention to composition in his work. Sergey believes that motorsport is a true art, he never ceases to improve his photography skills and imagination
in 2017 Sergey became an official photographer for such Russian racing series' as Mitjet Series Russia, Russian Endurance Challenge and Porsche Sport Challenge, worked with one of the largest teams in Russian Drift Series - Alex D Pro Drift, also collaborating with XPB Images during Russian round of DTM
in 2018 Sergey started successful collaboration with young but ambitious photo agency - Spacesuit Media, covering Formula 1 2018 season. Sergey's photos were used by 4 time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton, Top Gear and other clients around the world
in 2019 Sergey worked with Jean-Eric Vergne and G-Drive Racing during 24h of Le Mans. Result of this collaboration was a unique photo project "Vergne's Le Mans 24 Hours in 24 pictures", published on Autosport.com.
During Russian GP 2019 Sergey was working with XPB Images team. Selection of his images were used by FOM in official F1 newsletter and on official F1 website and social media, Renault F1 Team and Williams F1 Team as well
in 2021 Sergey became a Nikon Pro photographer and worked in ELMS with W Racing Team (WRT), Nielsen Racing and Rinaldi Racing, G-Drive Racing, Graff Racing and other teams and drivers
2022 season started for Sergey in UAE with 24H of Dubai race and Asian Le Mans Series. The rest of the year he continued working in ELMS and WEC with such clients as ACO, Nielsen Racing, Sophia Floersch, Max Koebolt, Belen Garcia and many more. Sergey was asked back in Russia to work with his long time customer - Russian Endurance Challenge, and also covered few races of Russian Circuit Racing Championship in GT4 class for Rinat Salikhov.
By the end of 2022 Sergey moved to Portugal, Porto to pursue career goals.
In 2023 Sergey covered full seasons of ALMS, WEC, ELMS, GTWC Europe Endurance Cup and some Sprint Cup races, working with such clients as:
Nielsen Racing, Kessel Racing, Dragonspeed, Algarve Pro Racing, Belen Garcia, Bent Viscaal, Pure RXcing, Timur Boguslavskiy and Akkodis ASP team.
2024 season is so far the busiest one to date. Sergey has teamed up with Harry Parvin (ex-official WEC and ELMS photographer) to offer even better service to the clients. They both are covering ALMS, WEC and ELMS full season championships. Sergey is also working in GTWC Europe Endurance Cup. Among the client list in 2024 are: Antonio Giovinazzi, Antonio Fuoco, Pure RXcing, TF Sport, Nielsen Racing, Kessel Racing, Akkodis ASP, Rodrigo Sales, Belen Garcia, Timur Boguslavskiy, AO Racing and many more.
